DESCRIPTION:
Dermocorticosteroid for topical use on Dogs. 1mL of Cortavance contains 0.584mg of hydro-cortisone aceponate.
Available in a 76ml spray bottle.

MODE OF ACTION:
Applied topically to the skin Cortavance provides symptomatic relief of inflammatory and pruritic dermatosis. When administered topically, hydrocortisone aceponate accumulates and is metabolized in the skin. This results in minimal amounts of potent glucocorticoid reaching the blood stream (bioavailability 0.2%).

INDICATIONS:
Topical use on dogs for the symptomatic relief of inflammatory and pruritic dermatosis.

ADMINISTRATION:
2 sprays per 10cm x 10cm square of affected skin surface once daily for 7 consecutive days. This is equal to 1.52μg/cm² of hydrocortisone aceponate daily. Treatment should not exceed 1/3 of the body surface. This product does not require any massage.

In cases of conditions requiring extended treatment, the responsible veterinarian should subject the use of the product to a risk-benefit assessment.
